Ulrich Kruger graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Free State in South Africa and was admitted as a lawyer in Western Australia in April 2022.

Prior to joining Bannerman Solicitors, Ulrich worked as a Director at BDK Attorneys in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he gained extensive experience in family law, handling complex divorce cases, child custody disputes, and property settlements. He then worked as an Associate at Johnson Winter Slattery in Sydney, focusing on commercial litigation and white-collar crime.

Ulrich’s background in both family law and commercial litigation provides him with a unique skill set that is particularly valuable in family law practice. His experience with property settlements, child custody disputes, and high-conflict separations translates well to the demands of family law in Australia. Additionally, his work on corporate governance issues, and business valuations has sharpened his ability to handle the financial complexities often present in family law matters, such as asset division in high-net-worth divorces and disputes involving family businesses.

In addition to his family law expertise, Ulrich gained valuable experience in criminal law matters during his time practicing in South Africa.
